There is an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 iOS 4.3.1 Virus spreading on the web as told to us by a concerned fan. We have recieved information this morning to give warning and alert everyone about this iPhone 4 and iPad 2 iOS 4.3.1 virus present in the 4.x firmwares of Apple devices. This can cause damage to your iPhones or iPads. The distribution of this virus is said to be happening mostly in to those who want to have their iPhone 4 and iPad jailbroken. There is an App from the internet that shows pages of a Fake Jailbreak presentation that shows the exact statements: “UNLOCK NOW FREE”, dont go into this page using your iOS devices, may it be an iPhone 4 or an iPad 2 because this will lead you to a 10-15 seconds of an animation followed by the text: “DOWNLOAD UNLOCK 2 NOW FREE”. When you see this, it will be too late because your information, both SIM and idevice information has already been cleared. If you are searching for a Jailbreak or unlock software for your iPhone 4 or iPad, do it on a desktop and now on your iOS device.
There is no fix for this iPhone 4 and iPad 2 iOS 4.3.1 Virus. All there is to put a stop to it is to inform everyone not to attempt to view information about jailbreak through your iPhone 4 or iPad.
